Dragons' Den

Team Enterprise hosted their own Dragons' Den event. Some Year 8 and Year 9 students were involved in enterprise workshops at school where they came up with ideas to take to Market Day Challenge 2011.

On the panel were members of Team Enterprise, staff from school, and representatives from YESU and BizFizz. They selected the best business plans and then invited them to be grilled on their ideas.

From that, all the Dragons discussed the strengths and weaknesses of all the groups and decided which groups they thought stood the best chance of going to Market Day Challenge.

Two groups were selected to apply to take part in MDC11. One of the successful groups is planning to make ornaments from clay to sell whilst the other is going to sell personalised t-shirts and hoodies.
